Text preview : font characteristics not being recognized

Could you please give details on your operating system and Inkscape version (32-bit or 64-bit installer)?

Tested on Windows 7 with Inkscape 0.48.5 and 0.91 (32-bit). The fonts show correctly on canvas with 0.91, but are replaced with a generic font when previewed in the Text and Fonts dialog (no problem with 0.48.5).
Could you please confirm it's the same bug? Thanks!

Yes that sound like the same I am having problems with. I have a 64 bit system and re-downloaded the 64 bit version. I still see the same issues as discussed.

  After changing to Inkscape .91 I have a lot more font types that do
  not appear correctly in Inkscape. Therefore when exporting the art
  work to a cutting program it is incorrect.

I am using the 64 bit version. Yes this sounds like the same issue I am having.
