Bug Description
I have downloaded Kubuntu 16.04 daily build 20160416 and created an installation USB stick with USB Creator.
After booting from the stick the boot screen appears with alternatives: Start Kubuntu, OEM installation and chck disc. I choose Start Kubuntu.
The Kubuntu logo flashes for a few seconds and then there is an awful lot of Plasma chrashes. Some information is given in crash report windows: "Executable: plasmashell PID:2109: Illegal instruction(4)". The PID:s vary a lot: 2089, 2153, 2166, 2186, 1910 etc. It's not possible to restart plasma or communicate in any other way with the computer except closing the bug report windows. When done the screen is just black with a mouse pointer (not frozen) but there seems to be no way to continue or even bring forth a command shell. Hard reboot.
I have tested the same stick on two computers, both with UEFI, but with different hardware. (Computer 1 Desktop: Intel Skylake 6500 Nvidia graphic card, Computer 2: laptop Intel 5200U, Intel HD4400). Both fail. I have downloaded the disc image several times and reformatted the stick. I have booted from different USB ports, USB2 and USB3, and nothing has worked. I have also tested the same stick with Ubuntu and Xubuntu daily builds from the same day and they work without problems.
So it seems that the Kubuntu installer for 16.04 is broken. Other flavours are unaffected.
