The autopkgtest for php-xml-serializer won't succeed until php-xml-parser is updated.

debian/patches/php7-does-not-support-reference-new-assignment.patch in php-xml-serializer should have a proper DEP3 patch header.

  * Follow advice from Debian Bug 759972 for fixing the test suite.
  * debian/patches/PHP7-has-removed-same-name-constructors.patch: PHP7
    warns for same-named constructors.
  * debian/patches/php7-does-not-support-reference-new-assignment.patch:
    PHP7 has removed support for assignment to new by reference.
  * debian/patches/backport-fix-from-pear-bug15602.patch: Double-
    encoding of entities.
