import a contact from gmail webapp or send one from another phone via MMS
When you save it in address book the avatar is not saved and it should be

A patch for that was merged on QtPim some time ago: https:/
I am not sure if it never got into our package or if it got lost at some point.
@Timo could you add this patch to our package.
