when saving SVG as XAML, current document changes to xaml

Bug Description

When an SVG is saved as an XAML file, the current working document changes to XAML. It would be handy if there is an option which makes sure that when a file is saved as another format, the current working document format doesn't change.

How about 'Save a copy as...' (see menu 'File')?

Thanks, the "Save a Copy" does what I want. I also noticed this is a duplicate:

Feel free to add a comment here (bug #1419374) and revert the duplicate status if you think this was done in error, and the the two issues needs to be tracked separately.
