Bug Description
[Tested with Ubuntu "Hoary" 5.04 Preview Release]
During the installation I'm asked to enter my full name. My name is "André
Dahlqvist", but when I enter the "é" letter the input is refused, and after that
it is no longer possible to enter or erase any characters in the input field.
It's not hung, because I can go back to the menu, but it's refusing the "é"
characters even on future attempts. It does however accept other non-ASCII
characters like å, ä and ö.
This is a regression, because if I install Warty I can enter "André Dahlqvist"
as full name without running into this problem. Is it perhaps related to the
switch to UTF-8?
I have chosen "Swedish" as language during the installation, and I also chose
the Swedish keyboard layout. I also tried having the installer auto-detect the
keyboard, but the result with regards to entering the "é" character was the
same. When the installation is finished I have no problem entering "é" in GNOME
applications, but on the Linux console é isn't accepted (but I guess that's
perhaps because the Linux console doesn't work very well with UTF-8?).
Let me know if I can provide some more information to help debug this.

How do I type "é" on a Swedish keyboard? I can't find it in either the console
or X keymaps.
