Bug Description

The German translation in the integrated help in bash is broken:

$ LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 help pwd
pwd: pwd [-LP]
    be a literal `]', to match the opening `['.<
$ LANG=C help pwd
pwd: pwd [-LP]
    Print the name of the current working directory.

    Options:
      -L print the value of $PWD if it names the current working
     directory
      -P print the physical directory, without any symbolic links

    By default, `pwd' behaves as if `-L' were specified.

    Exit Status:
    Returns 0 unless an invalid option is given or the current directory
    cannot be read.

Not being able to revert the latest upstream by Nils Naumann, maybe not enough rights?

Changed in bash (Ubuntu):
assignee: nobody → Limurx (limurx)
status: New → Fix Committed
status: Fix Committed → In Progress

Not sure if I'm still the right assignee for that, do I need to contact anyone or can this be done via bzr? If the latter I'd be glad to know what branch to download and which file to patch, I cannot see any translation files in the code browser.

Please be patient with me, it's my first week with launchpad :)
