Bug Description

I suspect this problem is related to a recent merge of two Launchpad IDs: mark-orvek (<email address hidden>) and morvek (<email address hidden>).

I am able to view schedules, tracks, etc but not able to log into summit.linaro.org to attend meeting,, or create a meeting.

I've added both SSO openid accounts to your Summit account, please try logging in again.

Unfortunately, I receive the same error. By the way, I also logged out and back into LaunchPad in case that was necessary.

I happened to hit a login problem which could be the same problem, or perhaps another one; in my case clicking login from Chrome would bring me to a broken partial page (which I failed to capture). I eventually solved it, so perhaps this will help.

Here's what I did:
* tried login with a new Chrome anonymous session; didn't work
* tried login with Ubuntu's Chromium that I hadn't used in months; didn't work
* tried login with Firefox; worked; still couldn't login with Chrome afterwards
* removed summit.linaro.org session_id cookie from Chrome manually
* could login with Chrome!

So I would suggest you do the same and try to login with another browser, or perhaps creating a truly blank profile somewhere to try to login. Then remove all summit.linaro.org cookies from your usual browser/profile. Then login again.

Loic,

I cleared all browsing data (which includes cookies) then tried logging in
again. Unfortunately, same error. My issue seems related to the merging
of Launchpad ID's. At least, that is my suspicion.

Chris, I had this account before I joined Canonical, with email <email address hidden>. So it was "merged" in the sense that the Canonical email address was added and whatever else is needed. I'll try what Loïc said.

Tried with a clean Firefox profile:
1. go to summit.ubuntu.com, hit "Log In". Got the same error page as on Chromium.
2. go to launchpad.net and login directly. This works.
3. go back to summit and try logging in again (still logged in in another tab to launchpad). Now getting the same "The username with which you tried to login..." as in the beginning...

Mark, I've merged your accounts in SSO; and removed the openids.
If you can successfully login to LP and/or login.u.c with your account, that should be right from there.

Sam, you have 4 separate accounts in SSO (faict); 1st step is to merge them all into one. Are you ok with this?
Please update in lRT#659; or preferably, file a separate RT for this.

So, Mark.. You seem to have renamed yourself from morvek to mark-orvek.. Is this correct? This seems to be the problem.. Your ID is associated with morvek and not picking up mark-orvek.. I think it is supposed to update, but it doesn't seem to be for some reason.

The renaming was not deliberate on my part. I would be happy to change
back to morvek if that would fix the problem.

Chris, Mark,
I've had the account for mark-orvek updated: ./manage.py update-openids -u <LPUSERID>
on summit.l.o
If the account is still trying to mismatch between id's, that could be problematic. can we remove the wrong one, and things will sort from there?
