Bug Description
I installed the daily version from end of june and was confused that I did'nt see the 'Applications' in the upper left corner of the panel to launch slingshot. it worked when launching slingshot from terminal, though, so it seems more like a problem in wingpanels.
Just tried out the daily image from 10th of july (only as live session) and problem still persists.
