Comment 2 for bug 1898510

Hello,Sorry but I'm at work all day long so I can't send you the .cotcot file but I think that Florence Blanchard (from Lyon's fencing's league) has sent them to you this morning.For the BellePoule2D, I didn't find how to join the created competition. There was nowhere to click to open a file (or I didn't find it, it's possible too!). I managed to place the tracks, to add manually the referees. But as the competition was not joined, I couldn't add the matches, times and track number.Thanks for your help.
PS: if you're french, we could write us in french maybe...

Can you elaborate at bit more? What do you mean when you write "I couldn't open the competition file on the right of the screen"?. Screenshots could help me to understand what's going wrong.

  At the end, impossible to create the save .fff

Bug description:
  Hello

  I downloaded the last version of BellePoule last week for the
  yesterday competition. (v5.3 I think)

  At the end of the competition, as I tried to create the 3 backups, it crashed with the message "Belle Poule a cessé de fonctionner", mainly for the .fff backup.
  A backup file was created. But when I tried to open it, the competition restart from the beginning!!
  This happened especially for one competition. I could send you the last file I have if you want to have a look.

  Secondly I didn't manage to use the bellepoule 2D for the referees. I
  could place the tracks, added the referees but I couldn't open the
  competition file on the right of the screen. I didn't find any
  solution in the help.
