Yesterday I downloaded Hardy 64-bit, and today I tried it. It still boots with no splash and no progress bar, so it looks like this problem hasn`t been fixed, yet.
Hardy (LiveCD) has (on my system) also another bug with display: when I set it to 1280x1024 resolution - 85 Hz, it switches to 84Hz (!) but thats another story and it probably doesnt belong here...
