And just another voice for getting hardy to support eeepc wlan ou of the box. The idea with the restricted driver section is the best I think, because this ugly patch would not match the typical ubuntu quality, but there are so many novice users with the eeepc, an easy wlan install will be essential for getting more ubuntuusers.
