I just had another thought. The file "1.avi" is in really rather named "foo(bar).avi". Could the round bracket be a problem for rsync? I found a post suggesting that rsync has problems with brackets in file names and it was said that the parameter "-s", short for "--protect-args" should be used[0]. As far as I could see from the logs this parameter is not used by back in time. Could this be a problem? Would it be possible at all to use it or would the whole rsync call not work anymore (e.g. could it happen that it uses pattern?)?
