Okay slightly reconsidering my previous comment. Maybe putting the "System Settings" option under the Session menu isn't the best placement, after all you are the ones conducting the usability tests here :) . But if it's to be removed from the Session menu, I'd liked to see it highlighted as a shortcut in the dash so that if people remove the shortcut you've added to the launcher it is still just one click away. And maybe you could also consider adding it to the context menu when right clicking the desktop background [just a thought]
