I think my problems are also related, but slightly different to the above accounts.

My bug occurs when I move the mouse down to raise the dock. If I move my mouse away from the dock before it has finished its "show" animation, it does not go back down again, even if I click on another window etc. It only goes back down once it gets and then loses mouse focus. Not sure if this is considered a bug or not, but it is darn annoying when a user needs auto-hide to preserve screen space.
