But the proposed workaround for the memory leak problem does not work for me. Typically xorg will use around 250m after X started. Then the memory use will grow to around 3G after one day. (this is not the GEM memory leak, for I am using proprietary driver) Does anyone have the same problem?
I am using Lucid x86_64 with xserver compiled as stated in the description. My card is ATI FireGL Mobility V5700 (Thinkpad modified version of HD3450) and the driver I am using is fglrx 8.723.
