I might be a tad late, but I think there might be a correlation between the number of prompts that appear and the number of tasks running on the computer upon suspension. I've suspended the system after a restart and only received a handful of prompts. If I suspend the system after an extended period of work without closing any programs I will have upwards of 15 prompts on system wake. Haven't gotten a chance to verify this theory since I need to determine which tasks using the top command might be associated with needing authentication.
