Although I do experience this bug I have only ever had two or three dialogs overlaid and then only after suspending overnight.
It is unclear why some people experience it so much worse, but if that is the case I tend to agree its should be released as soon as proven stable. It is possible that in these bad cases, something else is going on that the current fix does not address of course - let us hope not.
