Tested the patch, it appears to setup the mixer right but I still can't get any sound out of my system with it.
Also, I looked at the Realtek 4.06a driver and it no longer has ALC268 support in the code, it appears they are planning on using the official ALSA version whenever it happens to actually work. Although the Realtek 4.05f driver does have support for ALC268 in the code, it isn't listed as supported in the readme.txt. Also, I haven't tested to see if 4.05f actually works for my Toshiba laptop.
