Workaround I'm using in Intrepid:

Download rhino1_7R1.zip from Mozilla (http://www.mozilla.org/rhino/download.html).

Extract js.jar from that zip.

Replace /usr/share/java/js-1.7R1.jar with the js.jar you just extracted.
