VLC Daily Build of master branch
PPA description
This package archive contains daily builds made from the VLC development branch (a.k.a. the vlc.git master branch). This is meant for build testing purpose.
This PPA is fully automated and not at all maintained by the VideoLAN developers. If you need a VideoLAN-supported nightly build, you can download the VLC Snap from the VideoLAN nightlies site there:

If there is a build break here, contact LocutusOfBorg.
If there are apt errors during switch from the official package and the ppa one, solve them by apt-get remove --purge vlc before installing or switching the ppa.
Files might go moved around the package, and the ppa won't break/replaces them correctly.
Stuff *will* break during the testing of the PPA package, be prepared to it.
DO NOT OPEN bugs for this PPA against the Ubuntu 'vlc' package.
DO NOT OPEN bugs for this PPA on the VLC Trac.
CAUTION:
The builds in this archive are fully automated, and do not go through any quality assurance whatsoever. Build breaks and functional regressions occur frequently.
DO NOT USE this archive if you are not prepared to cope with such problems.
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:videolan/master-daily to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:videolan/master-daily
sudo apt update
