Two-finger touchpad scrolling stops working after waking from sleep

Bug Description

Device: Thinkpad T480
(probably affects other Thinkpads too, though)

Trackpoint (the nub in the middle of the keyboard) scrolling is not affected.

Works fine after a complete reboot.

Also, I've tried reinstalling Zorin OS a few times, and the problem keeps occurring. So, I'm fairly certain anyone could replicate this glitch. :)

This is happening on my fresh install of Zorin 15.3 on my X1 Carbon Gen 3. All updates applied.
