Bug Description

The start and end of a session can provide interesting data on why a user is opening or closing files and should be logged in Zeitgeist. It can be gotten from the session manager.

Just wanted to know if you are talking about the logging when the file was opened and when the file was closed?
Or is it when the system was booted and when the user clicked on Shutdown?

It is when the user logs in and when the user logs out.

Zeitgeist engine is a daemon. This work has to be done by dataprovider, so this affects datahub and assigning it to mhr3 for now. If he wants to do it.

Ted, can you guide us to someone who can tell us how to capture start-of-session and end-of-session in case mhr3 is busy.

Changed in zeitgeist-datahub:
assignee: nobody → Michal Hruby (mhr3)
Changed in zeitgeist:
status: New → Invalid
