Bug Description
It would be nice if the request object also included list of users (mask + nick) in the channel - and the topic, I suppose.
Perhaps IRCRequest.channel should be some sort of channel object which knows these things, rather than just a string?

The trouble with this is that you'd effectively have to do a /who on each event the way my current model works. Keeping state for joins/parts/ kicks/timeouts/ etc is a lot of ugly code I'm not thrilled to have to write.
