Left scrolling text broken

I have tried adding a text object which scrolls to the left, the problem, is that it starts with all of the text bunched up on the right hand side of the screen until it gets a few inches in, then it starts to appear on a single line and continues doing this until its all off the left side of the screen when it starts again, the text is just a sample "Scrolling text should work ok too, and should scroll from left to right?"

eg when the layout starts you see

Scrolling
text should
work ok too,
and should
scroll from left to right?

and as it starts scrolling it starts to fix itself

but it takes a while before all of the text is on a single line, anything that can be done to fix this?
