Bug Description
Installing Ubuntu 10.10 desktop i386 with Wubi 197 from Windows XP set the locale wrong.
I am sure this was already reported, but I could not find a relevant bug.
I am located in Slovenia, have set Slovenian keyboard layout and Slovenian timezone (CET) ans 24 hour time format in Windows.
But after installing Ubuntu, in Ubuntu I have US keyboard layout, some US time zone and 12 hour format in the Clock panel applet.
Especially the time zone is a problem, since Ubuntu saves the (what it thinks is) local time to the hardware clock and ruining the correct time there.

Thank you for taking your time to report this bug, this should be a Wubi issue though so we're closing the Ubuntu task.
