Bug Description
TO REPRODUCE:
Install wine version 1.0.0-1ubuntu2~
$ winecfg [- this initializes wine and populates ~/.wine]
$ cd ~/.wine/
$ wine iexplore.exe
A window pops up titled "Wine Internet Explorer" and tells me it needs to install the Gecko engine. I say ok and it downloads it and installs it.
EXPECTED RESULT:
Wine Internet Explorer displays all the buttons that ie6 normally displays and allows me to browse the internet
ACTUAL RESULT:
The Wine Internet Explorer window is black, not showing any buttons or any way to browse. I've attached a screenshot.

Yes, Wine Internet Explorer is a stub. It has no user interface and is not meant to be a fully-featured browser. Most people only use it to install Gecko.
You can view web pages in it if you run it with a url, e.g. www.google. com/
$ wine iexplore http://
