I'm also experiencing the same problem. Should be put higher on the priority list, as Cloudflare SSL is being used by more and more sites.

Midori 0.4.3 is *very* old. Can you reproduce this with a new version, and can you provide a link that produces this behavior for you?

I can reproduce this problem with the latest Midori 0.5.9 r6916 on elementary OS Freya, by visiting https://getstrike.net/.

https://getstrike.net/ now opens fine in Midori, but it still uses Cloudflare SSL. Seems like Cloudflare's Keyless SSL is the problem. I'm currently using Cloudflare's Keyless SSL on my website, https://flame.ga/, and it gives the "SSL handshake failed" message.

This bug also occurs in Midori 0.5.9 which is used in elementary freya. Since my site: oduso.com is mainly targeted at ubuntu and elementary users this is kind of a big deal.

The issue was caused by an outdated version of glib-networking in Ubuntu 14.04. After updating glib-networking to version 2.44.0-1, this issue no longer occurs.

This happens in Midori 5.11 also.

You realize that marking this as don't fix marks Midori as don't use?
