Bug Description
The "timer properties" dialog is ugly, because there is not enough space between the text boxes and the labels.
Further, the text boxes are simple text boxes while one only needs to input numbers. Instead of the text fields, spinners or some scroller should be used - like in the gnome screensaver properties ("inactivity after X minutes").
Also it is not clear that the timing properties apply to all images. Either add a label explaining this, or set the window title to "global timing settings".

Thanks for your feedback.
I have converted the text fields to spinners as that's indeed more convenient. Also, the label reads now "New default ~ time".
I will look into the beautifying part.
