Hi, how about adding '''crossfade support'''? It would be great to have that feature on song change and song start / stop, maybe with customizable timings :)

I absolutely agree, please add crossfading.
The newer versions of Rhythmbox (at least 0.11.2) also have crossfading.
Maybe the devs could use some of the code.
