feature request: turn on or off NSFW backgrounds and quotes

The default image sources in Variety generally do not include NSFW images, but some NSFW content might have creeped in. You may want to sanity-check the image sources you use and leave enabled only those that seem less "risky" or add some new more innocent ones. Regarding quotes, again check if you want all the sources enabled.

How do I turn on nsfw content? I assume there must be a login to wallhaven.cc. Are there any plans to add this feature or can I enable it by putting some login data into any config or script file?

Further to this Latest, Trending and Top on VRTY.org frequently have images that I'd consider NSFW it would be nice if similar to wallbase.cc these images were not shown, until some show NSFW was enabled and if there was NSFW versions of those feeds available. It would be nice if there was some kind of system where users could mark (or unmark if they think they were incorrectly marked) images as NSFW.

I agree in variety itself its less of a issue because default feeds are mostly ok, I believe you can setup wallbase.cc feeds to filter out NSFW when you set them up.

There is no way to login to wallhaven.cc and I don't plan on adding this, for various reasons.
You may be able to find Media RSS feeds from Tumblr with nsfw content. Also, try browsing on http://vrty.org for "inspiration" on NSFW-containing sources.

Yes, I understand filtering/searching options are very scarce on VRTY.org at the moment. I plan on adding proper search/filtering at some point, as well as allowing some way for Variety users to mark NSFW images, but at the moment I have virtually 0 time for working on Variety... But this will come at some point.
