Bug Description

Currently there is no feedback about what is happening once you start the sync process ,
the --verbose option isn't descriptive enough.

Ideally a --progress option must be implemented.

I linked the MR.

Added the --progress ( -p ) option to the uvt-simplestreams-libvirt sync command

Displays:

Downloading com.ubuntu.cloud:server:14.04:amd64:20140416.1 ==> 0% ETA: 0:43:58 95.68 kB/s

I'd like to see this feature supported in the vivid cycle. I'm wondering if instead of adding --progress to uvt-simplestreams-libvirt, a sync option could be added to uvt-kvm that was verbose. Thoughts?

I'd prefer sync to be integrated with create, and to just download the image required rather than a whole set. I think that downloading a single image is the common case here, especially for interactive use where we want a command to finish as quickly as possible.

Whichever way we do it, this bug could be more general for "progress bar when downloading".

summary: - Add --progress to uvt-simplestreams-libvirt sync
