Thunderbird does not refresh window content when maximized from launcher and/or after resuming system from suspend

Bug Description
The problem is a bit erratic but persistent.
After opening thunderbird maximized and then minimized to Unity launcher, after a while when maximized again the window appears white and without any content (screenshot attached). It is necessary to minimize/maximize again to get the content refreshed...but this does not always work and is necessary to close relaunch the application.
This problem also appears after resuming the system from suspend while thunderbird is minimized on the launcher.
Let me know what to do to provide more info on this bug.

No comment on this? Behavior still the same in 12.04 final version.
Minimized apps in launcher do not refresh properly when called back to focus using left click on icon launcher. Same happens with libreoffice and google chrome so far.
