Bug Description

If I'm using an application that shows a modal dialog, I'm unable to minimize the application.

What application did you have this problem with? An in what version of Ubuntu?

I have tested in 11.10 with Synaptic I opened preferences dialog and I can still minimise the application.

For example with Synaptic.
If I update the system (the update dialog is a modal dialog), I can't minimize Synaptic (the global menu of Synaptic isn't showed).
