Bug Description
My OS is: Ubuntu 14.04 (preparing to upgrade to 14.10)
When I tryed to check the verion of unity with command `unity -v`, I got following error output:
$ unity -v
File "/usr/bin/unity", line 64
print "WARNING: no DISPLAY variable set, setting it to :0"
SyntaxError: Missing parentheses in call to 'print'
== end ==
* on my system, the enviroment variable "DISPLAY" is already set to " :0 "

Official support for Ubuntu 14.10 "Utopic Unicorn" ended on July 23, 2015. Try upgrading to Ubuntu 15.04 "Vivid Vervet" instead, or wait for Ubuntu 15.10 "Wily Werewolf" to be released on October 22, 2015.
