description:
restarting networking crashes unity

steps:
1. install saucy
2. log in to desktop
3. sudo service networking restart

Expected results:
networking restarts unity doesn't crash

actual results:
networking restarts unity crashes

apt-cache policy unity

I only get x.org crashing (which of course prevents Unity from working effectively).

Could you please check /var/crash for a crash file (in particular _usr_bin_Xorg.0.crash) and use the ubuntu-bug program to update this bug with more information?

In reproducing this, I also got the X crash. I uploaded it and opened bug #1234786.

I do not have anything in /var/crash after this happens

on intel systems I get a crash file, on nvidia systems there is no crash file.

I have Radeon HD6870 video card and Unity also crashes!
