Doubling launcher icons - launcher has 2 icons for the partition

Week 30 Release ubuntu 12.10 quantal (Nvidia) with ppa: SIL2100

 After step 3 below, 2 icons are present on the launcher representing the partition. See screenhot.

Follow the steps below to reproduce the issue:
 1* Open Nautilus
 2* There is a "Devices" section in the upper left corner of nautilus
 3* Mount one of the devices there by clicking on it
 4* Make sure the launcher has the launcher icon for the partition
 5* Unmount that partition using Nautilus by clicking on the "eject" button in
   the "Devices" section
