Bug Description

The crashing part of the bug with setting schemas has been resolved but as you mention it would be ideal to just disable the components with missing schema and start up the program.

I would really like to have that worked out in case of com.canonical.indicator.sound schema. I'm using Open Sound System and therefore I removed PulseAudio and with it also indicator-sound so no schema and no way to use Unity Tweak Tool.

I'm sure there are others that use for example just ALSA or OSSv4 without PA being involved at all.

Essantially this is just a wishlist bug category because most people using Ubuntu have that schema installed.
