Bug Description

When I install unity-system-compositor and restart lightdm, I always get a black screen with a frozen mouse pointer in the middle (actually on two screen since I use multi-monitor).

This is happening through several updates of unity-system-compositor. Alt-F1, apt-get purge unity-system-compositor and restarting lightdm again fixes the problem.

100% reproducable.

Can you please get log files from while the bug is still happening? That means reproduce it, Ctrl+Alt+F1, log in and copy /var/log/lightdm/*
