This isn't a priority for RTM; I'm just filing this ticket so the idea doesn't get lost.
Though, thinking out loud here, maybe it would be useful to add the new name before RTM so that the supported, correct key was included in RTM. Then the deprecated name could be removed later when there's more free time for polishing.
