Bug Description

Binary package hint: unity-place-applications

Another crash in applications-daemon, similar to several other bugs I've posted.

Per Omer Akram (in comments on 742085) I'll see if I can try Unity-2D for awhile to determine whether it has similar issues. (Up to this point I haven't had any crashes from Applications in Unity-2D, but it also doesn't show any applications at all; will see if that's changed since the last time I tried it.)

(Minor correction: it was Mikkel Kamstrup Erlandsen in comments on 742085 who suggested I spend more time with Unity-2D. I've had enough dee crashes that they've started to run together a bit...)
