Bug Description

Binary package hint: unity-place-applications

I decided to try out the kubuntu netbook desktop to see what sort of improvements have been made. As is always the case when adding KDE, all of the KDE applications show up in the applications menu. In the desktop environment, or in the 10.04 netbook environment, I can use alacarte to hide the KDE applications when I'm using a gnome session. As far as I can tell, alacarte does not interact with the unity applications menu, and I can't figure out any other way to hide those apps I don't want to see in unity.
