Bug Description

In Firefox works fine, but in Chromium seems like he can't start the player controls because if I run a Youtube video in Chromium while Firefox is doing the same he uses sound-indicator until I close the tab.

A few observations:

  1) When I browse to a YouTube video in Firefox, an icon appears in the launcher and media controls appear in the sound menu.
  2) When I browse to a YouTube video in Chromium, an icon appears in the launcher but no media controls appear in the sound menu.
  3) When I browse to a YouTube video in Firefox, then browse to a YouTube video in Chromium, and then close Firefox, the media controls stay available in the sound menu and successfully control the video in Chromium.

I'm using:

  chromium-browser 25.0.1364.160-0ubuntu3
  firefox 20.0+build1-0ubuntu2
  unity-chromium-extension 2.4.6-0ubuntu1
  unity-webapps-youtube 2.4.11
