Bug Description

Now that Ubuntu is moving away from Unity, they won't keep using a Nautilus version that will play nice with it.

The next best thing, in my opinion, is to use Nemo with Unity patches and without Cinnamon dependencies:

At the moment we are limited to proposing a very loyal version of Unity 7, keeping the same softwares offered for years by Canonical.
Surveys will follow in the official website for the choice of future software changes.

Thanks for your interest.

I do get what you mean, I just hope it doesn't imply forking nautilus 3.20.x or 3.14.x, hence the suggestion.
