Bug Description
I think we need Light CD/DVD burning/copying tool, like currently abandoned by upstream Graveman CD/DVD writing/copying tool.
After little search (`apt-cache search cd burn` && `apt-cache search cd writ`) I found these tools (AFAIK xfburn is the best):
xfburn: CD-burner application for Xfce Desktop Environment (written in C, uses some XFCE libraries and modern libburn/libisofs burning libraries since version 0.3). Recommended version of xfburn is 0.3.2, this version is in Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid, older version for Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy can be downloaded from https:/
I'm planing to backport xfburn to Baltix GNU/Linux distro repository:
deb http://
recorder: A simple GTK+ disc burner (written with python-gtk, uses mkisofs, cdrecord/woodim, dvd+rw-tools). Recorded package can be installed from PPA for Openbox Software, see https:/
deb http://
Other light burning packages (eg. xcdroast or cdrbq) in Ubuntu either are old and unmaintained by upstream or have no DVD writing support.
I'd recommend Brasero Disc Burning
http:// www.gnome. org/projects/ brasero/
sudo aptitude install brasero
I'd vote for including this in the standard Ubuntulite package
