New ubuntu WSL installation have horrible hang ups

Hello dear ubuntu WSL team,

i'm a using Ubuntu WSL for years already and lately i have noticed that all my new installations of ubuntu WSL have horredously slow IO. I wasn't able to boil down to where the issue comes from but it's quite clear to me that there was some regression in that last updates.

I'm open to providing more info if you can tell me which diagnostics i need to run. I'm not used to debug these kinds of issues in ubuntu
