2015-01-30 20:09:59 Yrjö Selänne description For this project to even get off the ground, there needs to be a dedicated mailing list so that ideas can be logged and expressed as to the projects' code and UX feel and look. All of the other projects have a dedicated mailing list - I propose that the Ubuntu_TV project have one for this purpose. It may be sometime before people can move to initiating a full Ubuntu_TV system, but the ground work needs to happen on a mailing list first. This can include: Talking about where to get more info (signposting). Users doing art-work and balsamic UX design - the look and feel of the interface. Coders talking to one another in terms of the needs to drive the project forward. Logo designers and artists deciding on themes to work with Ubuntu_TV. Plug-in coders working on other projects integrated in the likes of XBMC to help out. The myriad of television manufacturers that can have a place to go to and get help. On-board services like Netflix and other interested parties to become involved. Hardware testing of the system as it stands. the list is long and distinguished as to why .. it just needs to happen. This bug has been discussed at length here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Ubuntu/duplicates/2sgolv/ ..... it just needs to evolve into launchpad so that this can continue to be prosporous for the community and users et-al.
