Hello Brendan,

Thanks for reporting this bug. It is somehow related to bug #544563. You need to create Ubuntu One account in order to be able to use Ubuntuon Music Store.

Please click "Ubuntu One..." entry in the MeMenu and create new Ubuntu One account.

I do have an ubuntu one account, however I am using a new "alternate" email that I changed to be my main email. Previously it was "shrift at gmail com" now its "shrift at bubbletastic com".

I will see if I can try again later today using the gmail user... My Lucid VM decided to stop booting yesterday after a little bit...

Yes, it seems that while I *did* have an Ubuntu One account, the rhythmbox side didn't like me trying to login through the music store, but it all worked fine after I logged in through the me menu. Once I logged in via the me menu, I have not been able to reproduce the problem, and haven't even been able to get a login page within rhythmbox again, so I can't try logging in there with my gmail address.
