price is not available in GBP my bank will charge me for transferring money into euros or dollars

Bug Description

Could you please post a price for GBP this seems stupid as you are a company based in the UK not many miles from where i live.

On the Ubuntu forums it says that GBP *has* been added but it does not work for me - only EUR and USD show in the currency drop down menu .....

Mel - Sorry about that. We enabled GBP but realized that there were some debit card processing issues that were resulting in transaction failures. We've disabled the currency for now until we resolve the issue. Sorry for the inconvenience.

We're still blocked on resources to add 3DSecure support to Ubuntu Pay. As soon as that's done, we can re-enable GBP transactions for credit/debit card purchases. In the meantime, I don't believe Paypal charges for currency conversions on transactions so, as soon as U1 switches to Ubuntu Pay, UK users will be able to use that.
