Bug Description
With the installer provided by ralsina last week, I get the following error on the step to select the folders to synchronize:
UnicodeDecodeError
'ascii'
'C:\\Documents and Settings\
34
35
'ordinal not in range(128)'
I'm using windows XP Home, the brazilian version.

Were you able to reproduce this with 2.99.1??
I've try this with that version in 2 different vms with several usernames (with and without unicode chars in the paths), and i can not reproduce it...
